This Privacy Policy explains how ZeroTech ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the ZeroAI mobile application ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account information: email address, name, and profile picture, provided when you sign in via Google, GitHub, or email OTP.
Chat content: the messages you send to the AI assistant and the responses you receive, including any images, voice recordings, or files you choose to share, in order to provide the core functionality of the App.
Device and usage data: a device fingerprint (used to apply daily usage limits fairly and prevent abuse), app version, and basic diagnostic/error logs.
Subscription data: if you purchase a paid plan, we store your plan type and billing status. Payment details themselves are handled by Google Play; we do not store your card number.

2. How We Use Your Information

To operate, maintain, and improve the App's features (chat, voice, image generation, translation, web search).
To enforce daily message limits and prevent abuse of free-tier access.
To manage your subscription and account.
To respond to support requests.

3. Third-Party AI Providers

To generate responses, the App sends your messages to third-party AI model providers. We do not disclose which specific providers we use to end users in the product itself, but for transparency here: your messages may be processed by large language model APIs (such as Google Gemini and Groq) solely to generate a response. These providers process the data under their own data-processing terms and do not receive your email address or account identity — only the message content needed to generate a reply.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information and conversation history for as long as your account remains active, so that your chat history is available to you across sessions. If you delete a specific conversation, it is removed from our database. If you delete your account (see Section 6), all associated data — account record, subscription record, conversation history, and usage limits — is permanently deleted from our servers, except where we are required to retain limited records for fraud prevention, security, or legal/regulatory compliance.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

AI model providers, solely to generate responses to your messages (see Section 3).
Google Play, solely to process subscription payments.
Law enforcement or regulators, only if required by applicable law.

6. Your Rights: Account & Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time, regardless of whether you signed in with Google, GitHub, or email OTP. Deleting your ZeroAI account permanently removes your account record, conversation history, subscription/billing status, and usage data from our servers — this applies the same way no matter which sign-in method you used, since all sign-in methods are linked to a single account record identified by your email address.

In the App: go to Settings → Data Management → Delete My Data. This works whether you signed in with Google, GitHub, or email.
Outside the App: visit zeroai.app/delete-account and enter the email address associated with your account. We'll send a one-time verification code to that email — only someone with access to that inbox can confirm the deletion, which prevents anyone else from deleting an account that isn't theirs.

Deletion is processed immediately and is irreversible. Note that deleting your ZeroAI account does not delete or affect your underlying Google or GitHub account — it only removes the data ZeroAI itself stored about you, along with the authorization link between ZeroAI and your Google/GitHub identity. If you also want to revoke ZeroAI's access to your Google or GitHub account, you can do so independently at myaccount.google.com/permissions (Google) or github.com/settings/applications (GitHub).

We will confirm completion by email once the deletion is processed. Limited records may be retained where required for fraud prevention, security, or legal/regulatory compliance, as noted in Section 4.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, hashed/secured tokens, rate limiting) to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
